I am an independent journalist and Freelance Producer with Al Jazeera Net, based in São Paulo, Brazil. I have more than a decade of experience across international newsrooms, field reporting, editorial planning, and television and digital content production. I currently collaborate with Al Jazeera Net’s Digital Division as an independent contractor, contributing to editorial content production and coverage planning.
Previously, I worked as a Planning Journalist at Alaraby TV for more than four years, developing daily, weekly, and long-term editorial plans and coordinating news coverage with correspondents and field teams across more than 30 countries. My experience includes planning and supporting coverage of major international events, conflicts, elections, and breaking news.
Before moving into newsroom planning and editorial coordination, I worked as a field correspondent in Syria and Turkey, reporting from complex and high-risk environments. This gave me extensive hands-on experience in field reporting, live coverage, source verification, and television journalism. My background also includes documentary production, fact-checking, voice-over, and newsroom desk work.
Having worked both in the field and inside international newsrooms, I bring a practical understanding of the entire editorial process—from identifying and developing a story to coordinating coverage and producing content for television and digital platforms. My work combines research, editorial judgment, and close collaboration with producers, correspondents, assignment desks, and digital teams.
